Founded in 2009 to fill a void in children’s theatre workshop programs,
South Shore Theatre Experience is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that strives to bring the joy and love of theatre to everyone through theatre classes & workshops, magic shows and our professional adult theatre company. We perform Broadway & Off-Broadway classics, as well as original works from local writers, for the community, both young and old. We are ardent in our desire to develop and foster learning workshops for children.  We are committed to helping charities and organizations in our community with our programs, as our organization believes in "Paying it Forward".  We try to do that in everything we do.

Most Likely To: The Senior Superlative Musical
"As escapist entertainment it's more than you bargained for, beginning with the title song 'Most Likely to Survive.' Songs like 'The Hero of Guitar' and 'O.C.D. Over U' come across with aplomb. In one of the best, 'Emo Spelled Backwards is Oh Me,' the Goth kids tease us about me-isms, [while] 'The Best Years of My Life' leads to the self-imploding myth of youth. A fun show to watch." —

"Your theatre will be voted 'Most Likely to Have a Hit!'" —Newsday

"Outstanding Ensemble Performance."

Manhattan International Theatre Festival Award-winner.

Book, music and lyrics by Michael Tester.
Cast: 7m., 10w., 1 either gender. With over 36 featured roles, the show can be done with as few as 12 actors or as many as 40 or more to cover a show choir, an a cappella glee club, dancing cheerleaders and more! It's the Glees versus the Goths, the Drama Queens versus the Jocks in a Senior Superlative showdown! Most Likely To has captured that lightning in a bottle known as the teenage drama queen. Set at a high-school awards ceremony, Most Likely To explores the trials and aspirations of teenagers through a thematic arc of song, sketch and monologue, allowing ample room for creative staging and flexible casting. The score ranges from pastiche to pop, emo to country western and includes soaring musical theatre anthems, rock, R & B and rap. Unit set.

Michael Tester made his writing debut in the London fringe scene with the musical satire Amoebas on Parade!!, hailed by The New York Times as displaying "the development potential of a major humorist." He is co-author of the international hit The Awesome 80s Prom (winner: Improv Theater Award for Interactive Show of the Year) and Body & Soul (winner: National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts), which was performed at Manhattan's Baryshnikov Arts Center. Tester is also part of the writing team for Ken Davenport's Broadway-bound musicalGetting the Band Back Together. His original musicals include Hollywood Exposed! (Actors' Playhouse, Coral Gables, Fla.), The Pirate Musical! (Samuel French) and The Mummy Musical and Most Likely To: The Senior Superlative Musical, nominated for 11 MITF Awards (Dramatic Publishing). Tester is a State University of New York Fellow, Rodgers & Hammerstein scholarship winner and a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He was voted Class Clown and Most Dramatic in high school, the dichotomy of which informs the seriocomic tone of his work. His official website is
